I am a British-Chinese psychotherapist and counsellor who has lived in Hong Kong, Dubai, the UK and Beijing. I started my career working with corporates such as Las Vegas Sands, adidas Group, National Geographic, Pfizer and American Express. After experiencing the effects of corporate life on my body I turned to strength and conditioning coaching, helping hundreds of people reach their fitness and health goals over the last ten years. However time in the gym brought the realisation that physical wellness is nothing without mental and emotional well-being. This led me to my practice of psychotherapy and counselling, providing practical solutions for daily functioning, mitigating symptoms and most importantly addressing the root cause of the issue.

I can help you discover why you are the way you are, and teach you the tools you need to live a happier life. We can understand how your past influences your present and future, build your self esteem, break those maladaptive patterns of behaviour and thinking, and learn protocols to defeat the negative thoughts in your head. I’m solutions focused so you’ll get real tools and protocols to aid in your progress. We’ll discuss what brings you to therapy. Then we’ll agree on your goals and the type of therapy and techniques that we will use to reach them. We will put this plan onto paper and use free discussion, worksheets and roleplaying.

I provide individual and couples counselling. I provide treatment support for body dysmorphia disorder and obsessive compulsive disorder. I also treat interpersonal & relationship issues, dead bedrooms, insecure attachment, break ups, family of origin issues, low self esteem, people pleasing and assertiveness training, body image, anxiety and depression.

I use Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy, Research-based Therapy, attachment-based, interpersonal, person-centred, psychoanalytic and psychodynamic approaches, as well as the Gottman method.
